Wedoany.com Report-Feb 13, Enterprises of Rosatom’s Mechanical Engineering Division have completed the manufacture of a set of housings for the main circulation pumping units GTsNA (Glavnikh Tsirkulyatsionnikh Nasosnikh Agregatov) for unit 4 of China’s Xudabao NPP and unit 7 of its Tianwan NPP.
This equipment will be installed in the reactor halls and will ensure the circulation of the coolant for the primary circuit. GTsNA cases are manufactured by Rosatom’s Petrozavodskmash. The package includes four GTsNA housings. The plant previously supplied China with sets Tianwan 7&8 and Xudabao 3.
With the new shipment, the company has sent about 800 tonnes of GTsNA equipment to the construction sites. A pump unit weighing more than 140 tonnes consists of a housing, pump room and electric motor.
The removable parts of the pumps and auxiliary equipment are manufactured by the Central Design Bureau. At the beginning of 2025, specialists at the Central Design Bureau supplied of a set of four pumping units for Tianwan 7.
