Wedoany.com Report-Mar 11, McHale Plant Sales, the official importers of Komatsu into Ireland, has confirmed the imminent availability of two new fully-redesigned Komatsu skid steer loaders, one on tracks and the other on wheels.
The two loaders were shown as prototypes at the bauma 2025 exhibition, where the 4t wheeled loader was simply badged as SK while the 5t tracked version was labelled the CK.
Designed specifically for the European market, they are said to provide the highest operating capacities in their category, merged with superior lifting, breakout, and traction force,
Adblue free
Power is provided by low maintenance stage V engines delivering 72hp (53.7kw), and, with no need for SCR after treatment, there are no bills for adblue.
Additional functions such as a slow speed system, cruise control, adaptive steering, return to dig, and other drive modes are provided by a new software suite.
A combined air suspended seat and control console enhances operator comfort, while the pressurized cab keeps the operator environment clean. There is also a 5in monitor integrated into the seat bar with incorporated touchscreen radio.
An additional double adjustment seat guide helps the operator to set the most comfortable position between EPC, monitor, and seat bar.
Komatsu safety
An operating capacity of over 1.6t for both models is enabled by an uncompromised symmetrical layout which which is said to guarantee the best weight distribution and stability in all conditions.
There is also a rearview camera with human detection system, radio, LED lights, and an optional front hydraulic quick coupler.
To enhance the safe operation of the loaders they come with a rearview camera complete with a human detection system, with Komatsu active over the past few years in developing such safety features.
A five auxiliary line port option for greater flexibility for attachment is available. LED lights are standard and there is an optional front hydraulic quick coupler.
