Daewoo E&C Boosts Nuclear Portfolio With Kepco Partnership

The signing ceremony highlighted the companies' commitment to deepening cooperation through joint research, technology exchange, and operational coordination on a global scale.

Daewoo E&C CEO Kim Bo-hyun and Kepco NF CEO Jeong Chang-jin emphasized their collaboration during the ceremony. Daewoo E&C, with a rich history in nuclear projects, has previously worked on domestic nuclear fuel manufacturing facilities and participated in the SMART reactor project. Since 1991, the company has completed over 30 nuclear-related projects, including the first overseas nuclear reactor export to Jordan and radioactive waste disposal facilities in Gyeongju.

With its extensive experience in nuclear power plant construction, Daewoo E&C is now preparing to lead a nuclear power plant project in the Czech Republic.
