Wedoany.com Report-Mar 19, On March 14, Chinese automaker Haima Motor officially introduced its 7X-E battery electric vehicle (BEV) model to Vietnam's taxi market. This initiative, in collaboration with Vietnamese partner Carvivu Vietnam Joint Stock Company ("Carvivu"), represents a key milestone in Haima Motor's strategic expansion within ASEAN's green transportation sector.
The initial fleet of ten Haima 7X-E vehicles will primarily operate at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi and Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, providing eco-friendly, smart, and comfortable transport services for travelers.
Designed for family travel and business transport, the Haima 7X-E boasts a 500-kilometer NEDC-rated range and can recharge up to 80% of its battery capacity in just 30 minutes using fast-charging technology—perfectly suited for the high-frequency, long-distance demands of airport taxi services. Its spacious seven-seat layout and intelligent cabin design ensure a superior passenger experience, making it an ideal choice for airport transfers and other mid-to-short-distance trips.
The launch of the Haima 7X-E pilot operation not only underscores Haima Motor's deepening partnership with Carvivu, but also aligns with their shared commitment to advancing Vietnam's sustainable transport sector. As Haima Motor's long-term collaborator in Vietnam, Carvivu has consistently focused on delivering high-quality automotive solutions to local consumers. This partnership will further explore the role of electric vehicles in the taxi industry, gathering real-world operation data and user feedback to refine vehicle performance and service models.
By anchoring operations at key airports, the Haima 7X-E aims to deliver efficient, convenient travel services while laying the groundwork for Haima Motor's broader expansion across Vietnam and more Southeast Asian markets.
