Wedoany.com Report-Dec 30, U.S. fuel ethanol production was up slightly the week ending Dec. 20, according to data released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Dec. 27. Ethanol stocks were up nearly 2% and exports were up 2%.
Fuel ethanol production averaged 1.107 million barrels per day the week ending Dec. 20, up 4,000 barrels per day when compared to the 1.103 million barrels per day of production reported for the previous week. When compared to the same week of last year, production for the week ending Dec. 20 was unchanged.
Weekly ending stocks of fuel ethanol reached 23.074 million barrels the week ending Dec. 20, up 438,000 barrels when compared to the 22.636 million barrels of stocks reported for the previous week. When compared to the same week of last year, stocks for the week ending Dec. 20 were down 443,000 barrels.
Exports of fuel ethanol averaged 166,000 barrels per day the week ending Dec. 20, up 3,000 barrels per day when compared to the 163,000 barrels per day of exports reported for the previous week. When compared to the same week of the previous year, exports for the week ending Dec. 20 were up 34,000 barrels per day. No fuel ethanol imports were reported for the week ending Dec. 20.
