US Unveils Nuclear Expansion Plan To Meet Growing Energy Demand

The U.S. plans to add 15 gigawatts of nuclear power by 2035, with a goal of reaching 200 gigawatts by 2050.

New nuclear plants may include large, small modular and microreactors rather than traditional large stations.

Major companies like Microsoft, Google and Amazon are pursuing nuclear energy deals to power data centers.
