Wedoany.com Report-Jan 2, Vestas has closed out the year with a glut of orders totalling 761MW across the US, Europe, and Africa.
In the US, the company announced a pair of orders for undisclosed projects.
The turbine manufacturer will deliver 60 V163-4.5MW machines through its Steelhead Americas development arm for a 270MW project.

Delivery of the turbines will begin in the first quarter of 2026.
The company will also fulfil a 203MW order for a second US project, featuring V163-4.5MW turbines scheduled for delivery in the third quarters of 2026 and 2027.
Elsewhere, Vestas Mediterranean will deliver turbines for a five different projects totalling 288MW.
The company will deliver 21 V150-4.5MW turbines for an undisclosed project and developer in South Africa, alongside a 20-year service agreement.
Delivery for the project is expected by the first half of 2026, with commissioning planned for the second half of the year.
Vestas' Mediterranean branch will also deliver 13 V136-4.2MW machines to an undisclosed project in France with a multi-year full scope service agreement.
Vestas will deliver the turbines for the second quarter of 2025, with commissioning planned for the fourth quarter of that year.
The company will send five V126-3.45 MW in 3.6 MW power mode and three V150-4.2 MW machines to another undisclosed project in France.
Delivery for the project is scheduled for 2025, and commissioning for the first half of 2026, alongside a 20-year service agreement.
Another undisclosed project in France will see the 2026 delivery of ten V136-3.45 MW turbines in 3.0 MW power mode, and eight V126-3.45 MW turbines in 3.6 MW power mode.
Commissioning on the project is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
Vestas also announced an order for 11 V150-4.5 for an undisclosed 50MW project in Spain, with a 10-year service agreement, and delivery scheduled for the third quarter of 2025 with commissioning lined up for the first quarter of 2026.
