Chery Group Posts Record-High Quarterly Sales of 620,025 Units in Q1 2025

Wedoany.com Report-Apr. 2, Chery Group announced on April 1 that it sold 214,770 vehicles in March, reflecting an 18.3% rise compared to the same month last year. Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., a key part of the group, accounted for 197,614 of those sales, up 10.9% from a year earlier.

The company’s new energy vehicle (NEV) sales surged by 125.4% year-on-year, reaching 62,210 units in March. Exports also grew, increasing 2.7% to 86,414 units. For the first quarter of 2025, Chery Group hit a new high with 620,025 vehicles sold, a 17.1% jump from the previous year. Within this, Chery Automobile delivered 590,533 units, marking an 18.8% rise.

From January to March, NEV sales soared 171.8% to 163,458 units, while exports reached 255,465 units, solidifying Chery’s lead as China’s top auto exporter. By March’s end, Chery’s global user base topped 16.3 million, with over 4.7 million users overseas.

All five passenger car brands under Chery posted robust sales in March. The Chery brand led with 118,955 units, followed by JETOUR at 54,020 units, EXEED at 7,618 units, iCAR at 7,016 units, and LUXEED at 10,005 units. This broad growth across brands highlights Chery’s strong performance in both domestic and international markets, particularly in the NEV sector, as it continues to expand its global footprint.
