PRO stands for waterjet cutting technology with operating pressures of up to 6200 bar. The new range of products includes of course all necessary components and accessories - from high-pressure generation units to orifices that guide the cutting jet with great precision onto the material. The maximum pressure of 6200 bar represents an increase of nearly 50% over pressures used in conventional equipment! The innovative high pressure pump series has been specifically designed for abrasive waterjet cutting at operating pressures of up to 6200 bar. Higher productivity The advantages of the higher operating pressure of 6200 bar are particularly relevant for efficiency where operators need to cut thick materials. Depending on the material and thickness, the cutting speed can be increased by up to 30%. The high operating pressure improves the quality of the cut edges. In many cases, there is no need for reworking. Cutting with 6200 bar significantly reduces the consumption of abrasive and thus the production costs per unit. Customer-oriented design When developing the PRO series, easy and quick maintenance was one of the key priorities of the KMT Waterjet team. The modular design of all components of the PRO range allows for the quick replacement of individual wear parts whenever the need arises. The machine design guarantees that each single part works properly to the very end of its service life. HSEC hard seal end cap technology The innovative design of the our hard seal end cap intensifier range for fixture of the check valve reduces operating costs and wear. As the seal is made purely from metal materials, there is no need for a conventional gasket. The new product thus does away with a delicate wear part. Available in two performance classes The STREAMLINE PRO is available in two models with 45 kW and 93 kW. At a pressure of 6200 bar, the machines offer volumetric flows of 2.8 l/min and 5.4 l/min respectively. This enables operator to cut with single or multiple heads. Improved production safety thanks to redundancy Smooth production runs without downtimes are particularly important for multiple shift operation. If servicing becomes necessary, the operator can now simply disconnect the respective intensifier and connect the second intensifier in the parallel circuit. This option guarantees production safety at all times. ACTIVE AUTOLINE™ PRO-I Abrasive cutting head for high pressures The new ACTIVE AUTOLINE PRO abrasive cutting head from KMT Waterjet Systems has been specially designed for waterjet cutting with 6200 bar. Its design and materials can withstand huge forces while focussing the energy to the point where it is needed, namely to the cutting jet. Among the outstanding features of ACTIVE AUTOLINE™ PRO cutting heads are automatic precision positioning, perfect repetition accuracy, high cutting speeds, long service life and easy maintenance. The few wear parts of the device can be easily exchanged without the need for tools. The orifice and mixing chamber form a unit and can be replaced within a few seconds. The same applies to the focussing tube. In order to keep routine maintenance to a minimum, these parts are made from tough wear-proof materials. The typical features of KMT Waterjet products - innovative approach to efficiency and economy in continuous operation - have thus been successfully integrated into the design of the companys latest development. ACTIVE AUTOLINE™ PRO cutting heads can also be integrated into any waterjet cutting system, including units with rigid or multiple head connections. ACTIVE IDE™ PRO-I Compact abrasive cutting head for 6200 bar applications Specially designed for waterjet cutting with up to 6200 bar. As the cutting head contains only a small number of individual components, it is particularly easy to handle and produces high-precision cuts. The key features of the ACTIVE IDE PRO are the precisely aligned cutting jet and the pre-filter protecting the orifice. The unit is also virtually maintenance-free. To achieve a perfect cutting jet, all you need to do is exchange the focussing tube.
