The YDT series motor is a pole-changing speed control motor that changes the motor speed and power by altering the winding connection method, classified as a step-speed motor.
This series uses a single winding pole-changing method to achieve speed changes, with options for dual-speed and three-speed motors. The power distribution at different pole numbers is designed according to the proportional relationship between fan or pump flow rate and speed, making the YDT series particularly suitable for driving fans and pumps with periodic flow and speed variations. This design offers significant energy-saving benefits.
The series is also widely used in mines, metallurgy, textiles, chemicals, light industry, and civil facilities, where airflow needs to be adjusted according to seasons and temperatures.
