As part of the tubing string, the telescopic joints can be lowered with the tubing string as a whole. Its inner diameter is the same as that of the standard tubing and is compatible with other downhole control tools. When the packer and related equipment are in place, the shear pins of the telescopic joints can be sheared by tension or extrusion. They can be sheared in the early completion operation or after reaching the predetermined position in the later stage. The telescopic joints can be pinned and locked at any position of the stroke, and the shear value can be adjusted by the number of shear pins.
