Divided into discrete "stations" (drawing, piercing, extruding, etc.) that can be installed into the FinMaster™ as individual "sub-dies", this system of tooling allows the FinMaster™, to produce fins and other stamped components quickly, easily, and with great economy. It should be noted that this tooling is specifically designed for loading into a TRIDAN FinMaster™ Fin Line. It has not been designed to adapt to any other press, but may work in equipment other than Tridans. Please contact Tridan with your specific requirement and specifications and we can determine the feasibility of such additional use. Tridans many years of experience in building progressive fin dies provides coil-makers with the following benefits of high-quality fins with maximum extended life of die components: NEAR-PERFECT FIN COLLARS - That provide easier insertion of the tubes into the fin cores, maximize primary-to-secondary heat transfer, and allow use of the thinnest fin stock materials. EXCELLENT FEED REGISTER - The improved stock piloting in the die further increases the register accuracy and the potential feeding speed of the S-C Type Feeding System. NO STRIPPER PINS - The absence of stripper pins aids in the stock piloting function, and eliminates the unsightly stripper pin marks from the fin surface that are unacceptable on the newer enhanced fin forms. MINIMIZED DOWNTIME - The self-purging compound pierce/straightening station removes metal particles, which could accumulate in this station, and cause shutdowns for cleaning and/or bushing replacement.
