The selection of this valve plays a crucial role in both alumina production capacity and the normal operation of the equipment. It is installed on the self-evaporator, typically with nine levels (E1-E9), and its primary function is to regulate pressure and flow. The medium is a solid-liquid-gas three-phase flow with large pressure differential, high flow velocity, and severe scouring of the valve. The working conditions are particularly harsh, requiring strict standards for valve structure design, flow path characteristics, material selection, and regulating accuracy. Based on the characteristics of the leaching system pipeline connections and referencing the structural design of imported regulating valves from Chalco Henan Branch, as well as the advantages of angle-type regulating valves, our company has developed a specialized slurry needle regulating valve for this application, which is widely used in the pipeline leaching system of the alumina industry. It plays a pivotal role in the safety and efficient operation of the process system.

Product Features

1.The valve adopts an angle-type structure with a gradually tapered valve body and streamlined design, suitable for high-viscosity, suspended solid, and particulate fluid applications.

2.The valve seat uses a replaceable structure, making maintenance easy.

3.No throttling orifice plate inside the self-evaporator is required; the valve can be maintained externally, avoiding shutdown costs.

4.The flow components of the valve are made from high-hardness alloy steel, suitable for high-temperature, large pressure differential, and high-hardness particle working conditions, ensuring a long service life and reducing maintenance costs for the alumina immersion system.

5.The valve body does not include anti-scouring baffles, preventing vortex formation and reducing erosion of the valve stem and disc.
