SF6 Gas-Insulated Switchgear Product Overview

The SFX series ring main unit is a type of ring main switchgear that uses solid insulating materials as the main insulation medium. It integrates the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber, its conductive connections, isolating switch, grounding switch, main busbar, and other main conductive circuits, either individually or in combination, and then encapsulates them with solid insulating materials to create one or more modules that are fully insulated and sealed. The modules are designed to be combinable or expandable. The accessible surfaces are coated with conductive or semi-conductive shielding layers and are reliably grounded.

The voltage rating is 12kV.

Ambient humidity: Average relative humidity not exceeding 95% over 24 hours.

Installation environment: No explosive or corrosive gases in the surrounding air, no severe vibration or impact, and dirt level not exceeding grade III as per GB/T5582.

Seismic intensity: 9 degrees.

Special conditions: Custom solutions available.

Comprehensive Five-Protection Interlocking Function

Logical mechanical and electrical interlocking, effectively preventing misoperation.

Simple operation interface, easy operation, and clear mechanical position indication of switches.

The operation mechanisms of the circuit breaker or load switch and isolating grounding switch feature perfect mechanical interlocking, fully meeting the five-protection requirements.

The mechanisms and the cabinet body (cable compartment door) are interlocked to meet safety requirements during operation.

Automation Features

The isolating switch can be equipped with an electric operation mechanism, enabling remote connection and disconnection, achieving true distribution automation.

Using CKPM602 (DTU), the entire switchgear’s status, grounding switch status, isolating switch status, and energy storage can be reported to the dispatch system, enabling remote control, remote signaling, and remote measurement.

Online monitoring systems can be configured to monitor contact temperature and diagnose the switch’s real-time status.

Dual power supply options can be configured to ensure the reliability of the power supply.

Can be connected to the dispatch center via wireless GPRS or fiber-optic communication.

The control system enables automatic fault isolation and fault elimination along the entire feeder line.

In a boundary scheme, it can quickly isolate faults in user boundary areas without affecting the normal operation of the substation.
