Pigging Valve

A pigging valve is a new type of valve designed for launching and receiving pipeline pigs, while also functioning as a standard two-position shut-off ball valve. Using the pigging valve provided by our company, along with the corresponding pipeline pigs, makes it easier to complete tasks such as pipeline cleaning, emptying, isolation, sequential media transportation, and system inspection. This type of pigging valve can fully replace the complex pig launching and receiving devices that traditionally use pig receiver barrels as the core component.

Key Design Features:

1. Quick-Opening Blind Plate:

   • The quick-opening blind plate is connected to the valve body using a toothed engagement, making operation easy. For larger valves, the quick-opening blind plate is connected to the valve body via a swing arm hinge, simplifying removal and installation even for larger-sized valves.

2. Interlocking Design:

   • The vent valve is interlocked with the locking pin of the quick-opening blind plate, ensuring that the blind plate cannot be opened until the vent valve has been opened to release pressure, thereby ensuring operational safety.

3. Cleaning Design:

   • A water injection valve can be installed on the valve body. When transporting toxic media, the valve chamber can be cleaned through a water injection valve with a spray nozzle, and the contaminated liquid can be discharged through a drain valve into a waste tank.

Pigging Valve Materials:

The pigging valve is primarily made of carbon steel, low-temperature steel, and special materials, tailored for oil and gas transmission conditions. It is available in both standard and anti-sulfur versions. The anti-sulfur valves are manufactured in compliance with NACEMR01-75-2002 standards. The carbon steel series is suitable for temperatures from -29°C to +180°C, while the low-temperature steel series is suitable for temperatures from -46°C to +121°C.
