It delivers the advantages of a travelling column & pendular machining center and a CNC controlled rapid radial drilling machine. Large voluminous workpieces are welcome. With the 5th CNC axes (travelling column) the possibilities of the DONAUPORT are multiple. With a X-axis travel of up to 20,000 mm / 65 ft machining large-surface workpieces gets possible. As an option, this machine can be equipped with a tool magazine, reducing off-times especially in a pendular situation.
