The existing range is built since 1989 from 3,5mt to 125mt cap......The MKG factory at Garrel started to design and manufacture hydraulic cranes in1969. These cranes were truck cranes only in the range of 5mt to 32mt capacity. The existing range is built since 1989 from 3,5mt to 125mt capacity and comprises: knuckle boom cranes, stiff boom cranes, telescopic boom cranes, construction cranes with 3rd articulation, extended main boom cranes/semi-foldable, recovery cranes. All cranes are available as truck cranes as well as marine cranes. Our marine cranes are designed with special base for static mounting and all materials are suitable for marine operation, i.e. resistant against environmental conditions on ships. MKG marine cranes (HMC) are built in accordance with all major standards meeting classification by ABS, Lloyds, Germanischer Lloyd, DNV etc. All MKG cranes are designed according to German Standard DIN 15018, stress group H1/B3 and meet all safety requirements. Since January 1st, 1996 all MKG cranes comply with CE-standard, i.e. overload protection valves, load holding valves, emergency stop-button at all controls visual alarm at 90% of max. load. All materials used are as per DAST guide-lines and meet all safety requirements. Before leaving the factories all cranes are tested with 25% overload and approved by neutral experts as per official regulations VBG9/cranes and/or VBG8/winches. MKG cranes are exported to all continents for truck mounting, static mounting on piers etc as well as for ship-mounting. MKG is the only manufacturer in Germany offering 3,5mt to 77mt cap. knuckle boom cranes and 14mt to 125mt telescopic- and construction cranes which are suitable for truck/static mounting.
