The plant is situated in Köngen, in the southern part of Germany. Since 1992 matec has been manufacturing CNC travelling column machining centers and vertical turning systems. Leading technology experience and know-how have since been characteristic for matec. The dynamic development of the company in the last 10 years under the chairmanship of Erich Unger resulted in the necessity of a second plant in Köngen. A new location, built in Köngen in 2001, reunited offices and production on 3.095 m2.
