This union based on German ......Looking ahead towards the 21st century it was decided in 1990 by TADANO Ltd., one of the world´s biggest hydraulic crane manufacturer, to take on a new partner in Europe - FAUN GmbH in Germany. This union based on German engineering skills and Japanese cost-consciousness and quality thinking, brought the products made at the location in Lauf and marketed by TADANO FAUN GmbH into the top class of European crane manufacturers. As mentioned before, we tremendously invested in the German location over the past few years. In compliance with our management philosophy ‘Without economic efficiency it will not work and we will not succeed without the human factor’ all necessary restructuring measures were introduced in union with our employees and the workers’ council. Our largest capital resource is our labour force being totally aware of the ‘Customer comes first’ principle. It’s my major goal, with the assistance of my staff, to further optimise the synergy between our customers and TADANO FAUN. The continuous development of innovative and state-of-the-art products, which satisfy constantly changing market needs, can only be possible when the requirements of the crane users, being the most important partner in this team, are fully taken into consideration and brought together with the know-how, skills and experience of the design, engineering, sales and service departments. Based on this ‘Team-Work Synergy Effect’, the benefits will be reaped by the customer and manufacturer.
