Since entering the wind power field in 1992, SSB has been a major supplier and technology leader of pitch control systems. To date, SSB pitch control systems have been installed and used on more than 50,000 wind turbines worldwide, including more than 25,000 wind turbines in China.
Relying on Nidec’s leading battery management technology, energy storage converter technology, and energy management technology in Europe, SSB began to deploy energy storage in 2022, and developed high-quality and high-reliability energy storage products with global technology leadership in Qingdao. It has also obtained a number of energy storage technology patents in China and is signing and implementing more than 400MWH of commercial energy storage (including completed construction and in operation).
