Things havent changed that much today 1869: Constantin Hang sets up a mechanical workshop in rented premisis in Göppingen. Three employees do all kinds of repair work and manufacture accessory parts for spinning and weaving mill equipment. 1898: Production of the first small hole punching and eyeleting machines for corset manufacture. 1899: The first automatic eyeleting machines are built. Eyeleting machine 1900 8F Corsett 1901: The Constantin Hang company is entered into the Commercial Register.The shareholders are the founder Constantin Hang and his son Eugen. 1902: The first company catalogue is issued. Eyeleting machines, hole punching machines, and cord presses. There are representative offices in Berlin, Copenhagen, Brussels, Milan and Vienna.1911: New plant building in the Ulmer Straße. 1914: 36 employees. 1926: The sons of Eugen Hang assume the executive management: Eugen Hang ( Chief Operating Officer ), Otto Hang ( Sales )and Albert Hang ( Purchasing and Accounting ). 1928: Business upswing due to automatic riveting machine used to rivet openers on cans of shoe polish. 40 employees.1936: Paper drilling machine production starts up. Export share reaches 48 %. 1944: 75th anniversary. 1945: End of the second World War. New beginning with modern, improved machinery. 1955: Eugen and Otto Hang assume executive management. The manufacturing programme diversifies. It now comprises automatic setting machines for eyelets, rivets, solid rivets, semi tabular rivets, press studs, double tubular rivets, and paper drilling machines. 1969: Eugen Hang becomes head of the operative management, Constantin Hang (degree in business management) assumes responsibility for the business management. 125 employees. 1978: Eberhard Hang (engineering degree) takes over the operative management. 1981: Founding of Montage - Automations GmbH and extension of the company premises with a new assembly workshop. 1994: 125th anniversay. 1996: Founding of Hang Kft in Kisújszállás Hungary, with 16 employees. 2001: Perfection, Competence, Quality. Constantin Hang GmbH presents its new public image and logo.
